Product Description

Dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride (DMDAAC) is soluble in water, ethanol and isobutanol but not in esters, ketones and other carbohydrates. Its compounds made under different PH conditions, characterized by salt and alkali resistance, can be used in polymerization of radical initiators, such as peroxides and azoic compounds. DMDAAC is cationic monomer and can form homopolymers or copolymers with other vinyl monomers, and introduce quaternary ammonium moiety to polymers, thus having strong polarity and affinity for anionic substances. This product is mainly used in the production of cationic flocculants, which are used in water treatment, especially the treatment of sewage with high oil content, with obvious effect; and also in the production of antistatic coatings, paper auxiliaries, oil field drilling additives and cosmetic additives.
