2. Chemical and Physical Properties
Appearance     Greenish-Grey or Greenish-Yellow round tablets (pellets)
Odour          Carbide-like or Garlic-like and ammonia odour
Chemistry      The products are noncombustible but exposure to Moist air releases toxic phosphine gas which may be flammable, It also quickly gives off ammonia (NH₃), a pungent smelling warning gas and carbon dioxide.
Reaction equation      ALP + 3H₂O -- PH₃+ AL(OH)₃                          NH₂COONH₄ -- 2NH₃ + CO₂

3. Usage

It could be used in the fumigation for grains, seeds, crude medical herbs, tobacco, bamboo/wooden products, feather. It may be applied in Grain storages, Vessels or other space for above products.
Tablets: 3.0 gram per tablet which releases 1.0 gram phosphine gas.
Pellets: 0.6 gram per pellet which releases 0.2 gram phosphine gas.
Sachets: 34 gram per bag which releases 11 gram phosphine gas.
