Details :Barium Sulfate for PVC Profiles
Structure and Features:
Chemically synthesized microcrystalline barium sulfate, with particle size D50 of 0.8um ~ 1.0um, is formed by adding appropriate dispersing agent after synthesis, and then through spray drying.
Featured by stable Chemical properties, non-physiological toxic, insoluble with water and any organic solvent, acid and alkali-resistance, high temperature resistant, fire-retardant and electrical insulation, and shielding ultraviolet rays.
Applications:
Specially designed for PVC profiles to substitute part of titanium dioxide. As reinforcing filler of PVC, it can limitedly change PVC production and processing to reduce costs.
Features and advantages
1. Mixed with titanium dioxide in a certain proportion. Good space distance capacity with titanium dioxide and PVC particles, good particle size distribution and dispersion.
Form peak valley in profile and reduce static electricity.
2. Good dispersion, narrow particle size distribution and good affinity with PVC and titanium dioxide particles, as well as easy mixing.
Thereby, it eliminates the optical flocculation in extrusion process and improves surface finish, so as to make the visual surface of profiles uniform color, smooth and neat, and clean end face.
It can also reduce unevenness and contraction traces caused by processing technology, and enhance toughness. Anti-shock, anti-aging, non-discoloring, suitable for rolling.
3. High thermal stability (chemical change above 1580 ℃), good weather resistance, reduce the size change rate of profiles after heated and enhance stress.
Can be widely used in application areas of high light and high weathering materials!
Processing requirements:
Added into PVC after mixing with the titanium dioxide in a certain proportion.
