Use: The products of this series principally used as a plasticizer for making filter-tipped of cigarettes. Among the glyceryl triacetate is also used as the plasticizer and the solvent in cellulose nitrate, celulose acetate, ethyl cellulose and cellulose acetate-butyrate, used as a curing agent for cast resin, as a fixitive agent for perfume. It is also used as a nontoxic plasticizer in the manufacture of cosmetic, edible gum base products, special solvent and plastic finished products for provisions.
